Nominated for the Exporter of the Year Award
Awards recognise excellence in British business for 2017
We are thrilled to announce that Pricecheck has been shortlisted for the Exporter of the Year Award at the prestigious Lloyd’s Bank National Business Awards 2017.
The Exporter of the Year Award recognises British businesses that have achieved the highest and most sustainable levels of international growth through exporting in the last 18 months.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 14th November 2017, at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London where the winners will be revealed in front of 1,000 business leaders, entrepreneurs and politicians.
Over recent years, we have become well-recognised in the market for distributing toiletries, food and drink, cosmetics and other branded consumer goods and now export to over 75 countries around the world. We also partner directly with key global suppliers and distribute both regular and residual stock.
On receiving the nomination for the Exporter of the Year Award, our Joint Managing Director, Mark Lythe said: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for the Lloyds Bank Exporter of the Year Award 2017.
“To be part of such a prestigious event will be a great honour and a fitting tribute to the hard work of our excellent team. Congratulations also to our fellow shortlisted companies!”
Business Development Director, Chris Roberts added: “We’ve increased our export activity massively in the last few years and now export to over 75 countries, which has helped to add over £11m to our annual turnover.
“We hope that this recognition for our continued export success will also help us build on our existing range of products that includes food and drink, health and beauty, pet care, toiletries and other branded consumer goods.”
Tom Broughton, Group Brand Director of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards also said: “Given the economic uncertainty over the past year, it is inspiring more than ever to see British businesses prosper. Through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, this year’s selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK.
“We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”
